One thing that all of my websites have in common is the fact that I use Banner Ads on every single one of them. So that’s 30 of my Websites running hundreds of ads each and every day.
I use Banner Ads so much on my sites that I developed not one, but two different software that help other website owners get the most benefit possible from these simple little ads.
First is my Easy Ad Wizard software which is a “Point & Click” Easy to Use App for Creating Amazing Looking Banner Ads Fast. And the second is Ad Ignition, a Cloud Powered SaaS Platform, which allows members to Create Interactive Advertising Campaigns and Manage them across all their Sites from One Dashboard.
So it’s safe to say I know a thing or two when it comes to using Website Banner Ads effectively.
And what I’d like to do today is get the gears in the head moving and give you a few ideas of how you can use Banner Ads on your Site and get better results from them.
6 Simple Ways You Can Use Banner Ads on Your Website
1 – Promote Your Own Products
This is the most obvious one for most people. If you create your own products you should of course be advertising them on your site using Banner Ads.
I advertise many of my own products on each of my sites, and even on this Blog I have a dedicated page which details All My Products on it.
2 – Build a Bigger Email List
Some people think you need some magical list building software to get people to join your mailing list. This couldn’t be further from the truth.
On many of my sites, including this one, I use a Banner Ad to incentivize people first with what they are going to get BEFORE I bring them to my optin form. So before they have clicked the Banner Ad they have already made up their mind that they want my Free Gift.
The effect this has on my Conversion Rates is huge with many of my squeeze pages receiving north of 70% optin rates because I use Banner Ads to advertise the Free Gift as opposed to just another generic optin form.
3 – Promote Affiliate Products
If you are a blogger I recommend including at least one affiliate product in each of your posts. And of course you are going to send a lot more clicks to that affiliate offer if you use an enticing Banner Ad Image instead of just a boring text link.
If you look over on the right in the side bar area of this blog you will see a section called “Checkout Our Live Bonuses”
These are Banner Ads powered by my Ad Ignition platform that advertise different Bonuses that I am offering for Affiliate Products I am promoting. When a visitor clicks that Banner Ad they are take to a Page where they are presented with Banner Ads promoting all my Evergreen Bonuses.
4 – Grow Your Social Media Following
If you are trying to Grow Your Social Media Following you could include a Banner Ad at the top or maybe the bottom of each blog post link to your Twitter/Facebook Page where people can follow you.
You could also include these types of Ads in the side bar area of your site or even use software like Ad Ignition to allow these Call to Action type banners magically slide in when a visitor has behaved in a particular way on your site e.g. the Banner could appear after they have read half way through your post or been on your page for 10 seconds.
5 – Link to Amazon Products
If you run an Amazon Affiliate Store or any kind of Niche Site you could use Banner Ads to catch visitors attention and direct them through your affiliate link to whatever Amazon Products you are advertising.
I have had great success with this by including Banner Ads for Amazon Products highly relevant to my blog posts. So when a visitor reads your post and they see the complimentary product to what they were just reading about, you will see a large percentage of these people click through and purchase the affiliate product.
6 – Create Affiliate Banners
This is probably my favorite use of Banner Ads where I create a set of them so my affiliates can promote and sell more of my products for me.
I think this is one of the most underutilized form of advertising that many marketers forget. Yet it so easy to do because your affiliates can add the Banner Ad to their Blogs, Download Pages, Members Areas and drive consistent traffic to your products for a long time to come.
I have one affiliate in particular who has done thousands of dollars of sales for me and all they have done is put one of my affiliate banners on the Thank You page of their product. And they are still making sales nearly 3 years on from when they added the Banner Ad. Talk about doing a job once and getting paid forever!
Now this is not a full list of all the Benefits of Using Banner Ads on your Sites but I think it is a good start, and enough to get you thinking of all the possibilities that they bring.
Of course if you need any help creating your Banner Ads I can recommend my Easy Ad Wizard Software. It’s very easy to use and you can get Lifetime Access for a one-time fee. Click the image below and you will receive a Special Discount just because you came from this Post.
But enough with all of that. I would be interested in hearing about how you use Banner Ads on your Websites? And if you have tips/tricks that you would like to share?
Feel free to leave to your thoughts below and I’ll respond to all comments personally.

Thanks Noel for those tips!
I’ve been using Easy Ad Wizard for more than a year now and I’m very happy with it. I’m not very tech savy but I find it very easy to use. Keep up the great work 🙂
Thanks for your support Samantha and for the kind words. I’m glad you like Easy Ad Wizard!
Cheers, Noel.
Hi Noel,
I run an Amazon Affiliate site so I know the importance of sending as many clicks as possible through my affiliate links. I do something a long the lines as you mention above, a blog review post of the product and then a nice banner ad that sends users to the product. Since I started doing this I’ve noticed a big jump in the number of clicks my affiliate links get and a nice boost in commissions.

Cool, that’s great to hear Eric. Thanks for sharing that tip!
I used to have a lot of Adsense blocks on my blog but since I started using Ad Wizard I’ve seen a nice increase in earnings, I think because I can choose what to promote and make a quick banner that is more targeted to my audience.
Whatever the reason I’m happy!
Yes, I think you’re spot on there Liz.
A better more targeted offer will always convert more than some random Adsense block IMHO.
Cheers,
Noel.
